Although summer is winding down, Chicago-based artist/producer Hunnid still has us covered on the warm island vibes with his latest single “Buss That” produced by Mantra.
On the track, Hunnid uses witty wordplay to compare a woman’s dance moves to that of a firearm while keeping things fun and flirty.
The Caribbean undertone mixed with classic rap references makes the song worth the stream time and even comes equipped with a vibrant lyric video seen below.
Hunnid on the concept of “Buss That”
“This record has so many elements to it technically and creatively. The foundation of the record is afro-beat based but was inspired by Lil Wayne “Back That Ass Up” with a touch of other 90’s hit music. The above influences helped to create something truly unique but an easy/enjoyable listen to anyone.”
