On May 3rd, Director of the Universal Hip Hop Museum (UHHM), Rocky Bucano and Chairwoman of the Board, Nana Carmen Ashhurst announced their partnership with NY-based media and entertainment company Mass Appeal.

Serving as the UHHM’s Agency of Record, Mass Appeal will handle the museum’s social media content and help produce special events to celebrate the opening in 2023, which will mark the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop.

“I am delighted to have the creative expertise of Mass Appeal to represent the Universal Hip Hop Museum as our Agency of Record,” said Rocky Bucano, “Peter Bittenbender, Nas, and their team have quickly made Mass Appeal the creative go-to company for urban culture.”

In addition, Mass Appeal will also develop and secure brand partnerships leading up to the museum’s opening and thereafter.

“This partnership is such a perfect fit,” said CEO of Mass Appeal, Peter Bittenbender. “We’re honored to help bring the definitive Hip Hop museum to life and will use this platform to create in-depth programs that celebrate the culture. We look forward to many amazing moments with the Universal Hip Hop Museum on the road to the 50th anniversary and beyond.”

The Universal Hip Hop Museum will serve as an educational, entertaining space that celebrates and preserves the rich history and impact of Hip Hop culture.

Through the power of art and technology, audiences will experience an insightful look into the 50 year-old music genre that was once deemed a fad.

The museum is set to break ground in Bronx Point in December 2019.
