Brighton-born neo-soul singer/songwriter Iyamah (pronounced i-yam-ah) delivers the visual for her soothing, reflective single “Silver Over Gold.”
Directed by Dalia Dias, the video was shot in Brighton and shows Iyamah visiting all of the places she spent time growing up, with her actual friends as extras.
Iyamah speaking on the track:
“This song means a lot to me because it’s written about the two most important things in my life growing up. My mum and my hometown Brighton. I wanted to capture the things that have inspired me, that I’ve carried around with me since I left.”
