Long Beach multi-dimensional drummer and producer Jody Giachello (also known as 4th Dimension (4D) releases his latest instrumental album, Millennial Kingdom Vol. 2, via Long Beach-based label Dankradio.
The project serves as the second installment in his 2-part Millennial Kingdom series and features six original tracks that take listeners on a melodic journey through time and space.
Within each song, you can hear elements of jazz and funk infused with an array of live instruments that make for a cohesive composition which can be heard on “Har Meggido” below.
Standout tracks on Millennial include the album’s opener “Super Nova” that pulls no punches with its robust feel and edgy guitar breakdowns, and “Triumph” that’s a full-bodied blend of rhythmic worldly sounds.
Aside from creating his own material, you can find 4D demonstrating his skills and national and international festivals as well as performing with major acts like the all-girl pop-rock band HAIM.
While drumming for HAIM, he has played everywhere from Saturday Night Live and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to Ellen and BBC Radio 1.
