Album Alert: The Peanut Gallery – Tales From The Basement

New Jersey Hip-Hop duo The Peanut Gallery (Orlando and Flee Jones) presents their latest album, Tales From The Basement, that features a slew of original tracks, a super dope freestyle, and the inclusion of skits that seem to be absent from most rap albums these days.

Throughout Tales, we get to see different sides of the pair’s styles, ranging from quirkiness, wittiness and straight spittin’ that real which makes it hard to put them into one solid category or genre.

Creating a lane outside of the norm in this new era of rap is their M-O, down to their unorthodox lyrics, out-the-box deliveries and even the visuals, as demonstrated in the video for “DEEP THOUGHTS.”
Standout tracks on the project include “Go! (Freestyle)”, “Blessings” and “Dreams” while “Time Flies By” gives an authentic pop feel and “Molly Crazy Jersey Club Remix” can easily get the club crowd moving.

Something else that stands out on Tales From The Basement is the stark differences between the two members.

As a college and prep school graduate, Orlando lends his carefree energy to the mix while Flee Jones brings his gritty, streets of New Jersey demeanor to the table to deliver a new blend of Hip-Hop with an eclectic twist.

Aside from putting together a solid body of work, The Peanut Gallery continues to build their brand by releasing more joint projects together as well as more visuals and touring.

Bringing a true air of authenticity to the rap game, the two plan to go the extra mile to stay ahead of the curb, one dope project at a time.
