Boston lyricist M-Dot puts his creativity into overdrive with the visual to his latest single “Chrissy” produced by Buckwild (Biggie, Big L, Jay-Z, Nas).

Directed by Don Chito (Most Wanted Filmz), M-Dot narrates a comprehensive memoir about a troubled young girl named Chrissy who’s life falls into endless turmoil after her failed attempts at fame and fortune.

The song highlights the girl going from being loved and adored to being completely overwhelmed by her own personal demons, unable to cope with everyday reality, spiraling into a world of prostitution and drug/alcohol addiction.

Sparing the audience the typical Hollywood ending, the story ends with a dark, hair-raising dose of reality that can be a cautionary tale to fame-chasers.

“Chrissy” is the seventh video released from M-Dot’s new project, EgO anD The EneMy, that features dope production from Hi-Tek, Large Professor, Marley Marl, Buckwild, Khrysis, !llmind, J Rawls, Snowgoons and many more.
